Federal LC 2005 XM193 production and Winchester Q3131 available for $129 for 500 rounds. The Federal XM193 is lot 103. Basically little less than double that for 1000 rounds of the Q3131- $249/1000 There was no price break for buying 1000 rounds of the Federal. There were also bulk packs of 1000 for $149, but it is mixed mfg, but all American mfg that I saw in the pack I bought. Howard |
Yep I saw that. I found a guy by the door that had Q3131A for $3.85 a box . After seeing the big table in the back have itt for $5.00 I went back to the front and bought 10 boxs just to repleanish my carry bag. Got into a little debate with the ammo guy at the big table. The guy was selling traces, and starburts. He had some black tip armor piercing 30-06 rounds but no 5.56mm. When I asked if he had some that I didn't see the guy told me no and that there was no difference between Black or green tip ammo. I said nothing but the tugestin core VS. steel so I just moved on. I will never say I know it all but I've seen these black tipped 5.56 rounds ( that were on a belt for a s.a.w) and I know thay have a tungestin core. Anyway the rest of the show was like every other some overpriced junk but it was nice to get out. BEWARE THE BEEF JURKY |
Yes the flies were atrocious in there yesterday. They were all over several tables. Didn't try any of the jerky. Not what I go to gun shows to do. Howard |

Pasadena? Pasaden.. OH YEAH Pasadena... The stench of decaying meat at entrance confirmed my fears that deer season is about to begin. I mean, you are required to gnaw on a chunk of dried wildabeast while waiting for that tiny little doe to stumble in front of you, right? I saw more 'hunters' with their grandpaws ratty looking deer slayer looped over the shoulder than I have in some time. One of them was actually for sale! I did have to smile when I passed by SOG's table and Mr. Know It All was picking his nose because NO ONE was buying his overpriced shit. [nelson]HAHA[nelson] And then there was Jen from the Fal Files hocking her wares (?) in order to keep the site up. Or is the site keeping the clothing business open? Hmmm.. I dunno. You make the call. Honda Gold Wing riders wandering around with a vest full of rally pins that would make the Sargent at Arms of the local VFW hall jealous. Or jaundiced, whichever. Sorry skippy, this is a firearm related event, not fucking Wing Ding. You are not impressing anyone. Get out of my way. Now. I picked up some Silver Bear 5.45 with the plain zinc case, no sugar coating to melt off, and some Romanian 8mm that was not quite as old as me. It was all I could stand. I immediately ran to the truck and headed to VandenBerg Custom to regain my sense of decency. I've known Ed since our post high school days. Why can't other dealers take a hint from him? Ahhh yes. Black rifles. Bunch of them. Custom 1911's that WORK. A G36 armorer's manual in plain sight. Red tipped 5.7 ammo. I'm better now. Really. |
I went yesterday to pick up an armorers wrench and action block. Got the wrench but no block. The show wasn't as big as I was expecting. Lots of crappy memorabilia (sp?) and overpriced guns. Did talk to a couple of nice vendors as I walked around. One thing I did notice is that everytime I asked about an action block most of the vendors would reply "Whats that?"

| I agree that there was a great deal of useless crap in that show! I do not think I will visit the "real gun show" again...I have gone about a hundred times over the years and I think that must have been the worst. George R. Brown in November...might be a good show. |

I go to the pasadena shows for one reason, the ammo vendor in the back that has about everything I want and need. I do walk around tables and look, but it is kind of a scary place. Picked up about 300 rounds of 5.45x39 (supposedly this is the last shipment until december) silver bear (great stuff). Some more 7.5 swiss, 8mm and 2 more East German 5.45 bake-light mags, and kinda pissed off a vendor by asking him to sell me an East German blue AK sling for $5. I think he had $6.50 listed on it. ![]() -mark |
