TEXAS POLICE

FROM POLICE FILES
A Richardson, Texas policeman had a perfect spot to watch for speeders but wasn't getting many. Then he discovered the problem - a boy looking to be around 12 was standing up the road with a hand painted sign, which read "RADAR TRAP AHEAD."  The officer then found a young accomplice down the road with a sign reading, "TIPS PLEASE" and a bucket full of money.  (And we used to just sell lemonade!)

BETTER...
A motorist was mailed a picture of his car speeding through an automated radar post in Plano, Texas. A $40 speeding ticket was included. Being cute, he sent the police department a picture of $40. The police responded with another mailed photo of handcuffs.
And the last one is the best..... :)

BEST
A young woman was pulled over for speeding. As the Texas State Trooper Officer walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book, she said, "I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the Texas State Police Ball."
He replied, "Texas State Troopers don't have balls."  There was a moment of silence while she smiled, and he realized what he'd just said. He then closed his book, got back in his patrol car and left. She was laughing too hard to start her car.

While driving to Tulsa, for one of the big shows, I watched an old man open a plyboard sign that read in big bold red letters "SPEED TRAP", so I slammed on the brakes, and sure as shit there where two OSP cruisers running radar.

If you're reading this, thanks old man, your OK in my book.  Damn Yankee.

There are two billboard-sized banners hanging from tractor trailers parked along Hwy 69 just south of Big Cabin, OK.  They say
SPEED TRAP AHEAD

I've been busted there once, as I'm sure many others have who passed that way.  That's also the only LEO who ever gave me flack for having my CHL.

Stinkin' Okies...

Priceless.... "Texas state troopers don't have balls".
I know a few troopers who would get a laugh out of that. Of course, they have a sense of humor. A few don't....

The right answer is "I wasn't driving my car at the time, someone else was."

Two of them from actual cops:

An APD ofc. was called to a slow moving car at the Austin I35 upper-lower deck split.  When he got there, a car was going into th elower deck at 35 mph on the freeway.  He pulled the car over and the little lady inside was angry.  She said she wasn't speeding.  She said she knew because the sign up there said 35 and pointed to the I35 highway sign.

A Mesquite traffic cop said he would let those people go if they came with a good excuse.  One day, he lit up a pick up that was speeding, only it took a bit for the person to pull over.  When he approached, the cop was miffed.  He asked the male driver why he didn't stop when he was first signaled.  The guy answered back, "Well, you probably won't believe me, but my ex wife is dating a cop and I was afraid you were him and was trying to give her back."  He was let loose....

Repost from last week when this was debunked. Plano does not have, nor has ever had photo radar.
