ROFLMAO. Call him? Hell, the Sheriff was invited to the last shoot at my house. He showed up in an unmarked, but 'typical' PD vehicle. The neighbors still called the Sheriff's department to complain about machine guns. It was pretty amusing, since the Sheriff was in his car when the call went out from Dispatch. He was able to tell them to disregard since he was already on site, and shooting with us. I would recommend you let them know what is going on. You will still have neighbors that call anyways. MGs 'sound' illegal. I was at a church supper last night, spoke to a neighbor that lives 1.5 miles away from me. He knew who I was because I told him "Hey...you know the guy that shoots all the machine guns out by your house? That's me." His wife was there, and just about went off on me. Wanted to know why we shot them, if they were illegal, were we shooting in a safe direction. She seemed to relax a little after I spoke to her. TRG |

Well.. It is a Baptist church. My budy's wife cooks the Wednesday evening meal, and invited us to come eat for free. I had been drinking since... 2pm? The alcohol on my breath probably irritated her as well? It was still an amusing conversation to me. ROFL TRG |
Yup, Curly is still the sheriff down in that county. It might be wise to give him a courtesy call. It happend to some officers in Travis County who were shooting full auto down in a gravel pit. TCSO was dispatched to the scene and the responding officers asked that they be notified. They wanted to get in on the fun also...

| We had some freinds come from the peoples republic of california to experince some texas fullauto and .50 cal fun.We have electric and pnumatic resetting type targets.All went well and no unwanted guests showed.We did have problems with only 50% of our tannerites detonating.I thought I mixed them up pretty well. 19D20 heavy.gif |
