Not really.....cost me $19 for my CCW permit, I can buy a brand new Bushy no-ban in 15 minutes for $799, only have to drive 15 minutes to shoot it at a 500 yard range, don't have to watch the Dallas Cowgirls every friggin' Sunday.....and can piss the locals off with my Texas accent while I slam the Beagles......so as you can see, it really doesn't "suck" to live in PA. (of course I live 45 miles from Filthadelphia so things may be different down there. )

It only sucks to live in Philadelphia. Most of the rest of Pa isn't bad. Philly is like Tejas' Houston, except worse. BTW, I'm torn about next weeks' game. I've been a Cowboy's fan all my life, and am a Ravens fan as well (home team, etc.). Since I'll be at the game, I'm going to wear my Dallas sweatshirt and a Ravens jacket. Should make for much fun in the tailgate area!!!!  ETA: Fuck the Eagles!!!

Actually Gus, D-FW isn't much better than Houston either........anywhere you have a large urban area you have a large collection of A: Minorities (mostly illegals in Texas) B: Liberals that want to support everyone under the sun on your dime C: Immigrants that want to change everything back to the "way it was back home".... Cities suck. (kinda like the Cowgirls  )

I've been to Houston a couple of times, and spent quite a lot of time in DFW. I know cities suck, but neither of these towns can hold a candle to good old Filthadelphia. Houston, IMHO is probably the worst Texas has to offer. DFW has a few "bad" areas, but overall it's pretty nice. Philly is among the worst the US has to offer. It ranks right behind Detroit and ahead of DC in the nation's shit hole rankings. The rest of us Pennsylvanians have been trying for years to sucker New Jersey into taking it off our hands gratis, but even THEY don't want it.

Then the Arkansas Cheese Dick with the FL DL just totally pissed them away. But the DEADSKINS got pissed away by Marvey Snyder.......At least the Eagles play close to the 10th inning sub shop...??? And that's why this Texan hates the Cowgirls.....I was a Houston fan until they announced they were going to move to TN.....same year Carolina drafted Dishman, Childress and the rest of the best players on the Oilers, I was in the Army stationed at FT. Bragg so....been a Carolina Panther fan since day one. |

Thanks for being such good sports guys. I feel bad for your team. They seem leaderless and Bill Parcells calling them names isn't helping. It's really rather sad to see what has become of such a once great franchise. We all use to live for the Eagles/Dallas games at my house. We'd say if we went 1 and 15 but beat Dallas at home, it was a successful season. I'd hate to see such a long historic rivalry drift into oblivion. Good Luck on the rest of your season....... Gary |
