| The Range Officer Class for Gunstock will be held October 2, 2004 at the Tiger Valley North on luna road. Please e-mail me your shirt size and real name for the t-shirts and certificates. I know your board name is better, but you might want to use this certificate later. Class will start at 9:00 am on the rifle side. Look forward to seeing everyone. Dinner after at the Lodge? |
| MADUCE has said that if you have certification as an RO from either the NRA or IDPA, that would work as well. If you're certified (or plan to be before Gunstock) and want to volunteer, please let me or MADUCE know! I'm checking around to see if there are any certification classes in the next month in case someone wants to RO but is unable to make the Oct. 2 class. |

I just happen to have a VIP Membership that I can get us all in free of any cover! And we can dine in the upstairs VIP Room if y'all would like! Damn. You'd never guess that I was just getting over a heart-wrenching divorce, would you? Eric The(LibertarianLibertine)Hun

Cold, In reality, madusa only called for 100 rounds of pistol. No shotgun. The excercise will actually be training with a hot range. RSO's will be expected to keep eyes peeled and notice items on and off the firing line. On the line. weapons malf bad handling or muzzle sweep attention to range instructors instructions and people on the line carrying them out correct stance and use of range officers instruction reloads, reloads, reloads hazards introduced from outside the range...incoming fire, aliens, zombies people wandering into the life fire area correct use of gear Off the line weapons handling weapons malf attention to details...if your head is down reloading, then you may not hear the Range instructor correct entry and exit into hot zone attention to details. 7.62 will fit in a 5.56 mag Tj is a excellent instructor and will give sound tactical advice. He only has two eyes. Your job is to be another set of eyes and ears. |
thanks a ton for the info, Ill be there at 9 am! |

To everyone who has not worked with TJ or done this kind of work before. I backed him over and over last year, because I got all the meat of the class without fumbling with my gear. It was my number one job to listen to him and make sure his orders were followed. And this is another shameless bump for saturday... Fireblade, If Maduce doesn't reply, why don't you just show up. |
How about a hot link.... J/K |
