Mojo, Look it up online...you can find written direction with pictures. Otherwise, Cheaper than Dirt has a wilson 1911 manual that's great. 1911 forum has an archive thread on the subject. That's the best I have a 11:30 at night. Jeff |

I am an expert. Just get a large piece of a 2x4. Finda hammer and place the 2x4 against the charging handle. Gently tap the 2x4 with the hammer, increasing the force of each successive blow until the bolt releases the stuck round... No wait, that is how you unjam an MP5.  TRG |

The Kuhnhausen manuals on the 1911 are the be-all and end-all of 1911 knowledge.

Thanks for the info, Jarhead_22 and Spars. I just want to hold off for now. Don't like the idea of moving rear sight off, in order to remove some of the parts from the FP safety. |
