My beef with McBride's is contained here: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=8&f=8&t=172438 I need the tang of the wife's pre '64 Winchester model 94 drilled and tapped for the Lyman #2 peep sight I bought for it. I could probably do it myself, but the gun is too nice to risk an amature hack job. bjt |
| I generally avoid McBride's unless I want to experience some sticker shock. I've had good luck with Alan Smith at ART enterprises. He did some work on my IPSC gun, and at the time, he was *the* guy for that kind of work. It was almost 10 years ago, so things might have changed. |
