what are some good gun shops in the central houston area? I live right by the summit(compaq center). Thanks. Trying to find some close ones. I drove 40 minutes to Collector's Armory one day. Nice place but some of their stuff is pretty high-priced and they dont stock enough assault weapons.

i know one thats 30 minutes from me.  I-10 and Beltway 8 is where i'm at.

nice selections of assualt weapons.   They rape you on prices tho.

Im from Houston, but moved to Kerrville Tx, about 15yrs ago.
Use to love looking through all the pawn shops and the Houston gun shows. :)

hmmm the one by beltway 8 is on fondren. that's the collector's firearms store. yeah they're EXTREMELY expensive......

although I have to admit, they had a springfield p9 there for sale for 450 brand new. I was tempted to blow my m4 carbine money on it.
