Did a couple of the AR15.com moderators really pull some juvenile move like this? "KellyR, one of the staff to whom the torch was passed from DonR after his "retirement" decided to call up TheRedGoat's employer in an attempt to defame him for some photoshopping hijinks he did on ar15.com. She and Arock took internet board stuff into the real world, and presumably tried to fuck up TRG's life and job in retaliation. All threads regarding it on ar15.com got deleted/locked pretty fast. It's discussed here on the rant section." I would really like to know. If it is true, then everyone on the board needs to know about this. If not, then we can flame the person who posted it on Full Auto. |

They locked my thread in the general discussion area. Well, it appears that this will be taken care of. I was simply concerned that a staff off of this board would actually contact someone's employer. Also, if someone would actually contact someone's employer, then EVERYONE neess to knwo that the moderators are engaging in those tactics and protect themselves. We also need to know if the owner of hte website authorized or condoned these actions. I have been asked to let this die a peaceful death so I will drop it. |
People who are moderators and staff here are human. They get pissed,angry, make mistakes,overreact and do many things that other people do. As you know,policemen break the law,doctors kill people,lawyers commit crimes,priest commit sins,etc. I think you het the idea that noone is excempt from doing things not expected of them. Because,this is now or might become a legal matter,I think it is in the best interest of those involved to leave it alone. Otherwise,you might unintentionally hurt the very same people you are trying to help. i would not do anything now- if I were them -without the consent of my legal councel. |

Everything that is humanly possible to be done to iron out every ding-dong detail of this latest debacle is being done. A few more days, and all will be rectified. And if it can't be rectified, you can always count on me to tell you the unvarnished, no-holds-barred truth. But be forewarned, if it cannot be rectified and settled to everyone's satisfaction, it will still not mean (1) the end of AR15.com, or (2) the end of the DFW Crew! These are just the times that try men's souls. You know, like all the others! Now, act as if we are all being threatened by some outside force and we need everyone here to try and keep their wits about them. You will be graded on how well you perform!
