At Ottawa go south on 59 to Richmond. At Richmond turn right(west) at the Catholic church, I think it's Central Street. Go through town the road jogs to the north, turns to gravel and also turns into Butler Road. Go approximately 4 miles to Iowa go north about 1/4 mile to the range entrance. There are usually some "DVC" signs posted with arrows. |

| Hello all. Hopefully I' ve correctly posted this to "Kansas Members Check In". I am somewhat new to the process. My name is Dave Gilmore and I am an FFL/SOT in Leawood, Kansas. I have worked with Aaron and Darin on House Bill 2742 and 2819 from the start. On March 5 Jordan Austin of the NRA and I presented to the Kansas House of Representatives since no one else was available to attend on that day. The meeting came up with very little advance notice. The House was meeting to discuss HB2742 which left out two classes of SOT's and citizen ownership in general. My suggestion to them was to move HB2819 forward instead of HB2742. Now with HB2819 moving forward it is great to see so much interest and support. Hopefully we will see a vote on it this week. We still have a long road ahead of us, but we're on the right track! |

Hello from southwest Kansas, Dodge City, if you wanna get picky. I sell automotive parts for a dealership. I enjoy shooting my AR and the good 'ol .45 acp. Just wish there was a rifle/pistol range near town. I did join the Fort Larned Arms Association and have enjoyed shooting there a few times so far... |

I built my first AR about two years ago and have loved every second of it. I have an M1 and an M1 carbine as well as shotgun and 1911 that I love to shoot. | Hello I am new to the AR- (mine is a 10) and to KS, Came to Wichita for work with one of the many aircraft companies. I shoot at the only 100 yard (Indoor) range in town when I can. Might like to join a gun/shooting club to shoot outdoors if I end up sticking around here in KS. One thing I like here is how many people I run into who have a healthy enthusiasm for firearms and the 2nd amendment. |

Most of what I shoot is much older than I am,(M1 Garand, Carbine, Colt New Service) but I am building an M4 and SBR XM-177E1.

Heh, I'm just a little ways away, on the end of Plant 1. The National Institute for Aviation Research (NIAR) has a building there where I work. We'll have fun getting in to work for the next couple weeks

I'm Rich, currently residing in Holton, KS. Formerly of DeSoto. I do quality control and testing for a crane manufacturer. Member of Mill Creek Rifle Club, but only get to shoot down there about once a month anymore (damn gas prices!) I try to shoot at the city range in Horton when I can work it in, but since it's only open two lousy days a month, it doesn't often work out.
