Has anyone been into the new fishing store at the Fernandina location? It's the smaller building straight ahead (where the corporate office used to be) when you pull into the parking lot.
Small store (maybe 4000-4500sq ft) but damn it's chock full of product! Spoke to one of the associates and he said their still getting product in and should be fully stocked within the next couple of weeks. I can't imagine them needing to get more product. If you're into fishing, this could be your go to shop with all of the different items in there. |

Buddy of mine went by there today and noticed they were putting up a new sign on the fishing store. He said it looked like the PSA logo but with a hook on it or through it or something like that and the words "Fishing Outpost" on it, only the "G" in fishing was a hook of some sort and it was backwards (won't use the actual words he used to describe it). Maybe they meant "fishin." Either way, at least the store itself is cool. |

apparently the Mt. Pleasant store also does fishing...the MTP facbook page had a few posts on it a while ago. Maybe Jamin is just trying to branch out some more? Yeah, the Mt Pleasant store opened with fishing product in it just over a year ago now. That store just carries saltwater fishing products. Primary focus is on inshore gear with a respectable amount of offshore gear. And they carry frozen bait from Baitmasters. I believe the word you're looking for is diversify. The AR and ammo markets have gone back to normal since there's no panic buying going on right now. A company that size can't survive on the AR and ammo markets alone anymore. The best thing they could've ever done was incorporate hunting and now fishing into their portfolio. Hope this newest venture pans out for them. |

Meh, not impressed actually. Oh, and just so you know, to suck ass at fishing is different than fishing sucking ass. Hope this helps. |
