I am sorry.
Our state is divided right now. I don't think anyone is serving Hoosiers. J/K!! I wont be much help to you. I don't drink so I don't know about that. It doesn't hardly matter where you eat. It's all fried anyway and costs $40/plate I haven't been to Myrtle in a few years now. Good luck with the bacteria and sharks. Enjoy your stay. Myrtle is fun for a visit once in a while, but it certainly isn't relaxing. Not my favorite vacation spot |

Yea , I have to say this is not the most relaxing time I have had on vacation. It's kind of like the souths version of the dells.
We went down to the boardwalk last night , jeeze that like a cheap dirty carnival. And you are right, it seems all fried and costs way too much. |

Head down to Conch Café in Garden City beach. Its Oceanside on N Waccamaw Drive. Good food, great view, prices average for the beach. Get there early or be prepare for a bit of a wait, especially if you want to sit on the porch overlooking the beach. The Surfside Beach pier also has a good little restaurant on it as well.
Several restaurants in Murrel's Inlet have views of the inlet marsh from their patio or dining room. Also, a bit of an insiders tip; find the Southside Diner on business Hwy 17 in Surfside, they are open Wednesday through Saturday for diner only. Its a small place with lots of Pittsburgh Pa. themed décor, but their food is really good and very reasonable. Edited to add: Also, try Grahams Landing at the south end of old business Hwy 17 in Murrel's Inlet; it's a great place with fully stocked bar and great seafood dishes. Dine inside or out on the deck overlooking the marsh. The Shrimp and Grits are outstanding; top 5 ever for me if not the absolute best. |
