I'm asking for speculation I know, but I wonder if the Feds don't reach a budget deal, and the government shuts down
if SCDNR will keep the ranges open in the Sumter Nation Forest. It appears that even though they are in a National Park, the ranges are run by SC.

Opinions?

I am just guessing but I expect they will remain open since they are free to use.

I hope they are open. The wife and I are going to shoot tomorrow, I'd hate to drive all that way and find the gate locked.

I think I'll call before we leave though.
