Live in Wright and shoot the 1000 yard out on the grass lands. I hear that Platte river rod & gun is going to put in a 1500 and 1800 yard rang west of Casper.

I've lived near Powell for almost 2 years and I work in Cody.  I'm a transplant from NY but don't hold that against me.  I love Wyoming the way it is.

Not really.  You'd be money ahead buying online and paying the transfer fee.

Triggers (LGS on 20/26 in Mills) does free transfers for .mil and vets though.  On the other hand Irv sends his lackeys to both Wal-Marts every morning.  Dick move, but capitalism and all that.  I'll never buy a round from him.  He does have an impressive collection of frontier era Colts and Winchesters that are fun to gawk at.

There is Powder River Armory, also off 20/26.  A bit of a snob and won't move an inch on used gun prices.  Loves Troy products, told me I was being naive for boycotting their products.

Then there is the local douche chain known as Rocky Mountain Discount Sports.  Overpriced everything and, with the exception of one guy at the Casper store (short, older guy with coke bottle glasses, you can't miss him), morons at the gun counter.

Lastly, we have Sportsmans Warehouse...

ETA:  There is a guy here in town that is a magician with 1911s.  And another guy that is very good with precision rifles.

Is the guy you're talking about with precision rifles also a locksmith?  And who is the guy that's good with 1911s.  I need some work done.

We've got a bunch of guys from Casper now, it's cool to see.  Was feeling awful alone for a long time on this board.
