Anything the PM does is attacked. If he managed to find a way to give every citizen a million dollars tax-free with no strings attached, he'd be attacked for it. The mass media in Canada is almost exclusively owned by a few CEO's who are members of the Liberal Party, so...you won't hear pretty much anything true on our media if it has to do with the Conservative government.
A lot of what they put out is pure BS. An example is the huge outcry over the closing of several Veteran's Affairs offices. The media had a field day with that! What they failed to mention was that every single one of those offices was immediately replaced with brand new, upgraded facilities, to better serve our veterans. Funny, that never made it into the media...every single media outlet refused to put that information out there. Personally, after looking through the C-51 legislation, it all looks pretty reasonable & common-sense to me (it's not if you're a supporter of ISIS, though!). Of course, I'm not a hard-core Liberal, so I'm not qualified to judge, right?
