Looking for some ideas on what to go do up there.
Don't really have an area picked, but just looking for good ideas. Thanks boys! |

Cool. There are a few members floating around if you want to meet up. Beers, dinner, etc.
The beartooth pass is about an hour south in red lodge. I would highly recommend seeing that. Lots of local microbreweries with many good beers. Uberbrew, hanks, Yellowstone, etc. Beartooth gun downtown is the local black gun store. He is open Tuesday through Saturday. Definitely worth a stop Pompeys pillar is about an hour east of Billings. It's where Clark signed the rock during his travels. Kinda neat to see if your into that stuff. There is a facility ran by the blm there. We have some pictograph caves just south of Billings. It's a state park with interpreters. And as always, Yellowstone National Park is a few hours away. If you got the time go see it. |

Billings gun show the weekend after next. Aug 23-25 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center. (Not way spectacular, but, any show is better than no show IMO)
There's an indoor water slide at the Shiloh exit on the West end of Billings. Been thinking of taking the kids there instead of pining for Chico hot springs or something out of town. If you'll have free time, I'm sure some of the locals would meet up for a beer depending on scheduling. Sly |

Quoted:
Big Horn Battlefield, Yellowtail Dam, Cody Museum(weapons). All good. Except Yellowtail Dam. No reason you should see it before this native. Hell, it ain't more than a 90 minute drive and I've never been there. Had lots of invites for boating as well. I suck. |
