[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Current CC Permit wait time?

Did my paperwork about 1.5 months ago and got fingerprinted at the State Police Barracks in BR.
Anybody done this lately? How long was the wait?

Is this new, or a renewal? I renewed mine last year and it was about 3 weeks.

I got my new permit in August after waiting 8 months.

If you are able, go to Baton Rouge to get finger printed at State Police HQ. It seems that speeds things up.

Went to BR to speed things along. I only ended up waiting a week for permit to arrive.

Did my paperwork and went to BR to State Police in early Nov.
Still waiting.

Applied 12/12/16. After about 6 weeks I started emailing. The typical response is it's being processed or what ever. You have to be specific like is anything else needed. On 3/1/17 was told it was approved and to expect it in like 12 to 14 days. Checking online just says approved.
