Anyone using them? I'm fed up with COX and fixing to switch. Price seems reasonable and they say they stay up through power outages if I run my generator?

We have EATEL in the Prairieville area. We loose internet/tv about once a day for a couple minutes at a time. They say it has to do with all of the local construction. I've had Cox before and it's a wash between which is better. I'd say go with whatever's cheaper.

A 1-2 min outage is tolerable. COX has consistently been throttling my service (100 MB service => 50KB) for up to an hour at random intervals and just raised my rates back to $85 and won't negotiate down. I'll try EATEL. 100 MB for $65 IIRC.

I've had both, but I'm with Cox now in the P'ville area.  Eatel was always good, and I've had more issues with Cox than I did with Eatel, but Eatel was so damn expensive at the time.  I had your regular HD cable service with the sports package and the internet, and was paying over $200 a month.  With Cox, we pay $140 for the same thing.
