Have a class coming up on the 19th and it's probably not what your thinking. Its booked up so not a pitch for you to attend. Wanted to share with you the reality of what a team consists of. With the world seemingly turning upside down from cities to small towns. A team is a force to be reckoned with.

Who is on the team? Simply a husband and wife.

If confronted at home or out in public know your place. Example, someone at the door, dosen't matter who answers, the other is backup.

Quick real life event, two come to the door, husband answers, words are exchanged, one of the two grabs the doorknob of the outside door as if to force his way in. A shot rings out, bullet strikes above doorknob passes through goes into the mans arm and exits by elbow. That's working as a team.

Something to think about this month.

Oh.yeah, the lady in the story that fired the shot I knew well. She was my grandmother.

Another angle on the team thing... have a plan or at least some baseline understanding of what to do in a situation. For example, you and your wife come out of a restaurant and notice a couple of guys start walking behind you and getting closer. You shouldn't have to start a discussion/argument about who they are, where they are, what they're up to up, why do we have to do that, etc.

Great class, everyone improved their shooting skills. A few learned their choice of equipment was not up to the task.

Started off with the safety talk, it was short and to the point. First and most important rule. Don't shoot the instructor.

It was a mix, from new shooters to those that shot before. Weapons ranged from quality to a couple that were better suited as boat anchors. Least they learned in a safe environment instead of a time of need. If they decide to upgrade the choice is theirs now.

Part I liked most, all were happy with what they learned and enjoyed themselves.

Actually thought the ladies would out shoot the guys. Last 5 rounds of the class was a little friendly competition between husbands and wives. The men squeaked out a victory by two rounds is all.
