There is a hole in the wall Mexican place on the corner of Airport Rd and Lakeland. It is in the shopping center behind Mugshots. They have the best tacos ever. Yep. That place is fairly good. As a Texan, I wouldnt call it great but grading on a Mississippi scale it is one of the better Mexican joints in the area. I also think Cazadores on 51 in Ridgeland is another good choice. (although the service is often horrible) My wife and I cant get over how nightmareishly bad most of the Mexican food in the area is....and we have tried a lot of them. For some other ideas, you also have Bonsai Japanese Steak House on Lakewood. It is fairly good and a lot of fun. You have plenty of chains up around the Dogwood Festival area. Magic Mushroom is also fun with ok food. There are also places like Table 100. |

Georgia Blue for the Fried Chicken Sandwich
If in Ridgeland on 51 at School Street at the strip mall go to Sushi Village have the Diamond Roll--it is a semi buffet but you tell them what to bring you, confusing at first but one price gets you in and then you tell them what to bring you. Very easy to order to much and they don't explain how it works but worthwhile none the less. |
