Has your skill level progressed past taking a basic shooting class? Think there is nothing to learn, or it would be a waste of money and ammo, along with your time. This month let's see if I can change your mind on this. Since professionals of all kinds go back to the basics for instruction for many reasons. Bad habits that have been picked up, or they just feel they have reached a certain level and can't get past that point.
Will there be things in the class you already know, sure. Probably be something's you have forgotten, sure. How about that thing you never thought about before, sure will. Think it would bore you going over things covered in a basic class? You know how important the proper grip is, but do you know how tight to grip the weapon? Hint, it's different for each person. There is a way for you to find out that's simple. Eye dominance, again a simple test and you'll know. Trigger Span, know what that is and how its important to your shooting the best you can? Placement of trigger finger on the trigger, easy to get it right for a straight pull back. You already have what it takes in the kitchen and your bathroom. What could be in those rooms that would help? It even works on the small pocket carry weapon as well as the full size. Double and triple taps, when you know trigger control along with proper grip and how tight you should hold the weapon, along with sight alignment, sight picture, they are fast and on target. When you know the basics its easy. This is just some of what is in a basic class. Hope I got you thinking about it. Will gladly answer your questions, if you have one. |
