Just a suggestion but how about we list the the town and the FFLs under it? Add to it when someone adds to the list and/or lists a new town. It would make it easier to find where one is in the area you need a transfer. I've used FFLs in places other than Meridian and I knw others have too so it would give a better picture of how they treat people plus prices. (Yeah I've got one in mind while I'm writing this and wouldn't mind putting it out there. Hint: I won a bid at an estate auction and they all had to go through one FFL who charged the living shit out of everone because "It was such an inconvience for him to do it." The pistol I bought was a H&R .32 revolver, won the bid at $70 and the FFL charged me $70 for the transfer. He had me over a barrel because I had to pay the auction company THEN go see him for the transfer...asshole. It's was Garrett's in Meridian in case you are wondering.) I'd aso recommend putting a rating beside eash one based on your experience.... maybe even a quick note about why you rated them highly or low. Some places can charge ridiculous prices and even be asses about doing transfers for walk-ins. (See above) And so it doesn't all fall on Nolo, I'll volunteer to organize and send it him when I have an update. |

| I use Brian at Velo Weaponry for my transfers. He has a few for sale and posts them on his Facebook page. It's a part-time gig for him so you have to work around his hours when you go to his house. But compared to what others charge for transfers in the Southaven/OB area, it's worth it. |

In the 10 minutes it took me to drive there after hanging up they had the rifle ordered and a shipping confirmation. |

Richard (owner) will help sight in by punching numbers in a ballistic program on his laptop to tell you where your POI needs to be to be sighted in at your desired distance. If you are having trouble with getting a scope mounted right or trying to fix something on your gun, Richard will help you out and I've never known him to charge anyone for his time and effort. Richard and Jennifer are the owners. They are husband and wife, no other employees. If you are interested in something they don't have in stock, they will try to find it for you, and will usually get in within a few days. If you aren't in a hurry and get to know Richard you can easily end up chatting for a few hours about politics and guns. |
