Excited!!!!!!!!!!!! Wife also excited to come again. Will bring my newly built AR pistol along. John, please bring Serbu again so my wife will get her fill of it and I can put off the purchase for another year. I can do that http://www.hunt101.com/data/547/medium/serbu_003.jpg Great picture. Being a noobe, can I get educated on this? Is this an open event or by invite only? Thanks. It's charger22's (Dave's) event, however it is open up to a certain amount of people, just for safety reasons. If you're interested I'd let him know as early as you can, and everybody chips in for food/soda etc. Last year we all chipped in to cover the cost of towing a junk car there for something different to shoot. Past years have seen the demolition of a doll house, Santa and Frosty the Snowman. Who knows what this year will bring. |

Is that a hot dog grenade flying off the end??? |

There is no way with everything I have going on it will be before then. Sorry bud. No worries. Regardless, Thanks for putting on the shoot again. I suppose if this years shoot is late enough in the summer/early fall, I should have a better handle on my schedule at that point and may be able to make it. It's been great in past years and I'd hate to miss it. |

I know I'm just one person's input, but if there's any way to do this in June/July/early August I'd really appreciate it. I start law school in mid-August and probably won't be able to make it if the shoot is after then. Quoted:

You just got an M11/9, I'm pretty sure that makes you a required attendee at an ARFCOM shoot |

But don't worry, if I don't make it John should still be there with his. Of course, his aren't nearly as cool as mine; they lack a proper stock, bolt of correct ROF, and contain obsolete iron sights only. :D |

Anyone that wants to shoot the 16 should bring Wolf steel case 55 grain, it loves that crap. I owe a brick of Federal 22 to someone from last year, don't remember who, but I'll have it with me. |

IM to get name on the list and will respond as needed. In the last years we have all contributed to the cook out in one way of another. If you will not be able to then please don't try and throw your name in the hat.
And for the new guys this is a fun and SAFE event. My father is kind enough to let us have this day so if you know you can't be cool and respectful of the day please don't bother. We have a great time and are fortunate to have a lot of great guys who share there fine equipment but respect for them is of the upmost importance. I am thinking we invest in steel for the range. Something we can use year after year. Thoughts and opinions? I will throw together plenty of the wooden holders for the zombie paper targets that seem to be a hit every year as well. |

After seeing the times that were had last year, I really tried to carve out some space for summer 2014 to make room for this year's shoot. When the thread came about, I held off on my decision as I was hoping to make things work. With the newborn, toddler and business exploding...it's just not in the cards. Bummah.
In the spirit of the shoot, I'll do some plinking during trips to the coffee pot as I'm sure I'll be working all weekend. |

Hope my new cans are released from NFA jail in time.
