No more listening to how great Connecticut is anymore! I'd rather see three posts each week here than hear about how great CT is 40 times a day!
Now we can talk about out Colt ARs, 7.62x39 AKs, and our abundance of affordable gun clubs without the threads turning, well, feminine most of the time! Maybe we should feel sorry for the CT guys and offer them a piece of MA that should fit in with most of the conversations there. It can be the Connecticut/P-Town Hometown Forum! Just kidding CT guys. Are you saying that CT is better for gun owners because there are more ARs there? Let's face reality. Both MA and CT are shitty states to live in for gun owners. But after the latest laws passed In CT, it has to be one of the worst places to live if you like guns. And if the confiscation bill they spoke of during the hearings doesn't scare the crap out of you, you either have your head buried in the sand or you are in total denial. Everyone from CT used to say no self-respecting gun owner should live in MA. If that's the way CT gun owners feel about MA gun laws, there should be a mass exodus of people leaving CT! |

I was entirely against the split, I work in MA, spend as much if not more time there than here in CT.
There will be an exodus from CT, but thats going to take some time, it wont be overnight. I unfortunately do not have the luxury to be able to split. Im stuck. Confiscation is a scary prospect, but what is one to do about it today? I've made my contingencies and Im prepared for a long fight. But Im not going sit around and live my life in fear. God forbid I come kick cans in the MA forum, ugh, very . . . . . . un classy?

Even the most anti-gun MA politicians said we already have strict gun laws and more restrictive laws are unnecessary. I find it a little disturbing when CT members actually sound enthusiastic about more restrictive laws being passed in MA. MA members are supporting the CT guys and hope that someone sues CT successfully and gets the new laws overturned while CT members have the attitude that if its happening to them, screw MA and hopefully we get boned with new laws too. |

Not cool man, and really not necessary to stir up trouble for little to no reason Posts like this could be avoided with one simple rule that CT members have to follow in order to post here in the MA forum. They should have to think about their post before hitting the "Submit" button. If they realize that their post will make them sound like a complete asshole, they should post it in the CT Hometown Forum where it belongs instead of shitting up the MA Forum. |
