Does anyone live near the Alchemist Brewery?
My buddy is getting back from A-stan and I am trying to get some Heady Topper IIPA for his return. I had a source but he has fallen off the planet. I will of course pay for the beer, shipping, and a little extra for the trouble. If it is illegal to post this here, dont ban me bro. Just figured it would find more Vermontians here than the Equipment Exchange. |

The problem is that they only produce 160 barrels a week. Right now they are working on expanding (they got a sizable loan from the company that my brother works for), but they won't be opening shop at their new place until the 4th quarter or next year. There is a store in Montpelier that gets 180 cases on Friday. They put them on the shelves at 3pm, and they are gone by 3:20. There is usually a line out the door and around the block for it. I get a couple cases a month, and occasionally we get a log (1/6th of a barrel) for the kegerator. I'll see if I have anything coming in next week. I just cut into my last 4 pack tonight for dinner. |

I personally do not see the hype, but I have a lot of friends who wait in line for the stuff. Cannot buy at the Alchemist any more, but there are a few vendors around me that manage to keep it on the shelves. |
