Gun-control folks financed by Bloomberg are going to be out at the polls gathering the signatures they need to collect in order to get a citizens initiative on the 2016 ballot to increase restrictions on gun sales. If you go vote, you'll likely be asked for your signature on the way out by those folks. Don't sign their petition. However, don't confuse them with the folks who will also be out similarly gathering signatures for an initiative to dramatically cut Maine's income tax and welfare programs. Please sign that petition!

Bloomberg's local group is looking to get a citizen's referendum on universal background checks. They are actively soliciting signatures and will be out in full force at polling places in southern Maine.
The signature gatherers are being paid to do this and really have no idea what they are talking about. Engage one of them in a calm and educated manner and you will be surprised (or maybe not) at the level of ignorance.......although Bloomberg's people are not ignorant, they are just lying to get their agenda passed. |
