So im curious to know if anyone actually knows of a normal nj resident who was granted a concealed carry permit by the state. I am a director of security for a company and my site is down in jersey city and my employer would like me to carry while working. So they provided me with a letter of need and i am now in the process of doing the paperwork to go submit it with the full expectation of being denied even though my company is calling it an "employment necessity."
But what the hell right? |

But what the hell right? As long as the job requires one to carry a firearm, he should be granted one, ie Brinks. I believe that employees of the nuclear plants and Private detectives have them. |

That's great. What about the other 8.973 million New Jersey residents? That's a good question. I've spent a bunch of my own money and a shit load of time fighting for y'all. Was in NJ early this month at a conference and I'm flying inmonday for a court case. With 8.973 million residents, why have only 3 or 4 stood up and said let's roll? Why don't we have 8.973 million dollars to hire a lawyer for every fucking tom, Dick and Harriet to fight? Why does everyone tell me I'm wasting my time up there? Am I? I've spent literally 2k of my own dollars this month just on your state. I'd much rather have a new gun or any other thing I can own down here, but I'm fighting up there because y'all need help. I just wish NJ residents were more interested than some redneck from Mississippi. |

I donated a few months ago. I think it was from the facebook page? I got a patch or sticker in the mail
** It was their webpage. http://www.partyofsix.org |

Liondog, do you know if it is against the rules to put a post in GD asking for donations? I would imagine we would get a lot of out of state support. As that statement points toward GD, NoLo would have to ask GD mods... they may suggest the Activism Forum. It is a matter for NoLo to decide if he and/or the other Party of 6 want to ask. Is there anybody else in BERGEN Cty or near to, that want to meet up & dine with NoLo. IIRC he's flying into Newark tomorrow staying overnight, then going to Trenton for bidness and will be available for the local NJHTF members there if they want to meet up. Iggy can make either night, I am trying to juggle my schedule to actually be able to commit to the Newark night. |
| So I'm in Trenton. I had no idea this place was so rough. I think I'm the only person in this hotel. I'll be in court at 945 and then will make the drive back to Newark later today. Don't know how long Court will last. I'll let y'all know where I'm headed after this, but it will most likely be at one of the hotels close to the Newark airport. |

Be careful while there and keep your head on a swivel and a hand on your rape whistle. Cops are between 10-20 minutes away if you're in trouble there. Every time I've ever passed through Trenton I've ignored all traffic signals and just drove straight through without stopping. Newark sucks too but not as bad. There's a lot of nice places to eat in the Ironbound and there are some really nice hotels near the airport; I've tested the fire alarms at a lot of them down there. I'd like to meet up but unfortunately my wife works nights and I have to get home to watch my daughter. Not that I think you'd want to meet me since I'm so overly critical of NJ and it's gun laws. It's not that I don't appreciate all you do because I do. I donate to a lot of the causes; I did not however know that I could donate to the Party of Six. I will now. |

In 25 years of bustin heads for the law in N.J. I doubt I saw 6 valid carry permits.
The work permits for armored car personnel, Etc. allow for on the job carry only and they're fairly common. True concealed carry permits are made of unobtanium. They are always attached to the wealthy and connected. |
