| I have searched this site and have come up empty. I am debating to geet either an 80% 15 lower and chamber it in 9mm, or get a 10 lower and just run 308. Regarding the 9mm setup however...does anyone know where I can buy a Jersey legal upper for 9mm? I can't find any anywhere...also I heard 9mm chambered ARs are illegal in our lovely Socialist State? |

Nothing illegal about a 9mm AR. However, obtaining an 80% lower and finishing it yourself IS illegal, as that is considered manufacturing a firearm.
Purchase a complete 9mm lower, and assemble (there's a difference between assembling and manufacturing - assembling is legal, manufacturing is not) the rest of your rifle as you like (adhering to NJ's "assault firearm" restrictions... fixed stock, no flash suppressor, no threaded muzzle device, etc. etc.) |

Palmetto recently started selling 9mm AR kits. As long as you can find a brake/comp to weld on, pin the stock and remove the bayonet lug. Alternatively you can have a thread protector welded on, just have to have something welded over the threads.

I have a double diamond 9mm glock non ar type thing. It's and pretty nifty piece, however the bolt hold device was engineered by satan himself or a retard.
Apparently the company imploded and screwed a lot of people in the process. My experience was much better. |
