Congratulations! I've been a refugee for 8 years and, while I love the people and the area, the government and the atmosphere makes up for it. Don;t look back. (And I FINALLY got rid of all that Czech training ammo I bought from you (I think) :-) I found some more of that czech stuff while packing up the house. Should really shoot it one day. |

Welcome to the neighborhood! I hope that commute works out for you, it can be tough.
In case you didn't get it in the mail yet, here is your new resident checklist: 1) Buy PMAGs 2) Get DL transferred over ASAP 3) Buy more PMAGs 4) Get LTCF (CCW) 5) Buy more PMAGs 6) Walk into the nearest gun shop and buy a handgun, without a permit 7) While in a said gun shop, buy a stripped lower 8) Build said lower into an AR pistol 9) Submit your first Form 1 to SBR something 10) Go buy some fireworks, shoot them off and drink a beer under the starry skies of NE PA!

| Wow..this thread is bringing them all out of the woodwork. I already have a big ol pile of 30 round ar & ak mags, various drum mags, 100& 250 round belts and that sort of stuff Ive been stockpiling and storing out here for years. Now Ill get to use it all. Im already thinking of making the Thompson a SBR, and maybe the grease gun too. FA is very tempting, but still kinda spendy. If I can find a MG08/15 for not too ,much, I may have to look into that. Maybe a NJ expat shoot is in order? |

spendy... just pay once cry once as they say... life is short. rock now or wish you did. we aint getting any youngerz....LOL.
your Free man... make the Most of it. first thing i did was buy a 100 case of GI black 30 round mags... then built every AR assault configuration i ever wanted from A1 up to MK12... then the NFA game started...LOL... life is short. just do it. get a shoot together, hit me offline , i have a few places i can make it happen. guns that will give any ban stater wood. enough tannerite to make your ears ring for a month. nothing NFA is getting cheaper. i cant count how many guys said yea not now , hemm haw.... and now they cant touch an M16. i remember them $7000. those days are looooong over. freakin Drop in auto sears are 25k. |

Have to agree - if you can do it, just do it. I waited far too long to enter the NFA market. Currently looking over a couple of M16s and will be picking one soon. Get a NFA Trust set up and just SBR something. Its cheap, and short guns are so much more fun that you ever thought! But first... go buy a pistol without a permit. I'm telling ya man, you'll be like "wait, wtf just happened?" You might even wander around the parking lot aimlessly for a while. |

if your in Bucks County just get signed off... i think NorthHampton signs too. many Counties do. forget Monroe....
they grumble when ya go in there for LTC , i was in there for FFL stuff last year, and they gave a few guys getting thier carry permits a hard time... i dont know about Pike... i stay away from those NY/NJ infiltrated counties. my best friend from four years old lives in Susquahanna County... we shoot right behind his house on his land. private land is the best ! yea... dont drag your feet if your going to get into NFA.well Machineguns at least. suppressors and SBR's are cheap in comparison. and available. some think they are waiting the market out... the poeple that buy that stuff have plenty loot, and they aint letting it go for a song. its a unique game, but alot of fun to be into. fkn awesome. may i say it ? fkkkkkkk nj. lol and really FKKKK NY. |

| We have talked about leaving NJ after my book gets published. VA was a consideration, but with all the liberals moving there from DC, maybe not. And I will be in my late 60s. So NJ may just stay home. HurricaineAllie is thinking of being a lawyer. With the connections I have, I am involved in quite a few lawsuits, She was with me in a law office yesterday. She asked questions, lots of them, how many 13 year olds can say they watched a million dollar lawsuit from the beginning. |
