Do I remember correctly that there is a limit on how long it should take to get/update a FID? I've been waiting on an address change in Robbinsville for 2 months. |

Quoted:
Yea good luck with that. ... mine took close to 6 months. ... my wife got hers and used all 3 , and she applied the week after me, before I got mine As it turns out the NJ2AF has a web page that outlines steps to take but it is involved and requires politeness. I think I'll just keep stopping by the police stattion until I get to talk to a Detective. |

Quoted:
Statute says 30 days, 45 for non-residents (2C:58-3f). A court ruling stated that police have all the time in the world to complete their investigation, because public safety trumps all else. If I can find the exact case and ruling, I'll post it. So therefore Constitutional Rights do not exist when pubic(sp) safety is involved. |
