So why would the President of CJRPC ask such a question if He already knew the answer?????
From: ubuntu1956 To: LUGERMAN Date: 1/19/2014 8:57:48 PM EST Subject: Re[4]: bump fire cjrpc Hi Lugerman I'm also member of cjrpc. I herd you have to get a bump fire badge how do you get it??? Thanks First I'm hearing about that. Send an email to the President and see what he says. The following is an excerpt from the April 2012 Newsletter. I hope this helps. John Donald - ?Members are starting to use bump fire devices on their AR style rifles. This device simulates automatic fire. The State of N.J. has no laws or regulations governing this modification. John Saville made a motion that a special use badge (obtained by attending a Board Meeting and requesting it. Much the same process as a 50 caliber badge) needed to be created for anyone seeking to make this modification to their rifle and fire at the Club. Mike Amico seconded it. John Donald and Richard Vanderstine were opposed. Everyone else voted for it. News to me!! Don't know why you would need a "special" badge to have one though. Sounds ridiculous to me. You have to set up an appointment with me to demonstrate that you can control the rifle when bump firing. Sometime in January will be good for me. Give me some dates that you are available, preferably during the week. John F. Scott President Central Jersey Rifle and Pistol Club [email protected] Hey John, So why come here and ask the question if you already knew the answer?????? What's your point??? |
| I agree with Lugerman..I am a member of CJRPC...I am sick of being regulated to death also...the ricochet was total BS..I was helping to find out what happened and was shut down..I offered to have an agent from the FBI crime lab come in and measure, run the formula, and see what was the cause, did I get the chance..NO!!AGAIN SHOT DOWN! I also provided the formula to use, and with my expertise as and engineer and also a consultant to local PD's I would have been able to provide an answer to the State Police and we would not have to use these ridiculous target stands...Our dues also went up..FOR WHAT? Well that will be addressed at the general meeting..you can be sure of that!!! |

| Time to see the books too. I want to hear why they have raised dues 2 consecutive years that total almost 1/3 of the overall annual dues. I want to see why there is a need for this. Time to see the audited statements as well as the bid proposals for all the work being done. |
