What is the minimum overall length for an AR in NJ?
Wondering, can you have a 16" carbine collapsing stock pinned at the collapsed position/length or is that too scary for NJ.

It can be pinned anywhere as long as it meets the OAL

I'm looking at an Adcor B.E.A.R. Elite... looks like they have the OAL as  32.5”-36.25”.

Any idea what OL is for a 16" with a Magpul UBR? Almost definitely within the legal length collapse, right?

Does a pinned stock have to be irreversible?
Is there a requirement for where it's pinned or as long as you can't collapse it?

What stock will dictate this, the one ive done was a moe stock i drilled into the stock and tube tapped the tube used a grub screw and epoxied the grubscrew hex head closed. It doesent move and is reversible with some "special" tools.

YMMV

Got the Adcor... has a Magpul MOE stock. Need to figure out where/how it's pinned so I can unpin it, collapse it, and re-pin it. Right now it's too long for the Pelican case I have.

This is the bottom view. Can I just pop the roll pin out or is this the way it's supposed to be?
