After much hesitation I signed up and went to the carbine class at Buckeye Saturday. First let me say my hesitation was I didn’t want people looking at me funny since I’m not mil/Leo. That wasn’t the case at all, Chris has designed a class with the average civilian in mind. I was blown away by the amount of knowledge he has and information we were given.( I’m still trying to write things down after the fact. )Chris has a way about him that he talks to you like he know you for years, he could also teach a sewing class and make it fun. Any body out there one the fence about taking a MDST class do it your money is well spent and look at for the urge to take more. I’m trying to make the carbine 3-4 class time work for me. thanks again Chris.

I second that. Great time, great training. I was impressed on how Chris and the crew kept drilling the fundamentals, because they are what bit me in the butt during a drill...(mag not seated).
The malfunction drills were fantastic! That will definately be part of my regular regiment of training, now. Don't hesitate to sign up for any of MDTS classes. |

Carbine 1&2 class was fantastic! I would recommend it to any beginner who wants more formal carbine firearms training. I'm looking forward to the Pistols 1&2 class on Saturday 7/28, then it's off to schedule the 3&4 versions of the shotgun, carbine and handgun classes when they are available. Cant wait!
