Keeping it conventional?  The M107.

Honestly, a .22lr to the brain housing group is really all you need, technically speaking. Its also alot lighter and you can carry 30x as much.

IIRC the .22lr doesn't exactly have a great record of punching through think material- like a skull (bullets with insufficient power can and do skip off skulls), especially at distance.

Excellent point!

From a "it's better than nothing!"/stockpile standpoint I like the .22lr, but IMHO it carries the clipboard until the better stuff can't play anymore.

In .22 HV ammo
5.56 Hornady TAP with the red ballistic tip.  At 100 yes it makes gallon jugs jump off the ground
9mm  sub gun ammo +p
.40 s&w Winchester LE Ranger ammo
12 gauge Remington buck hammer or any 8-9 pellet 3"
Any 50 bmg but incendiary makes it that much more interesting than the usual pink mist
