Quick, turn to Sportsman Channel (Comcast SPTMA 1631 in Cherry Hill area). They actually have real gun shows on TV.
Just happened across them flipping channels. Tonight: Sharpshooter (9:30), TacTV (10:00), Personal Defense TV (10:30), Guns & Ammo (11:00). How cool is that!! We need to vote with our cable boxes to keep this kind of stuff on the tube. |

Are they actually recording viewership by cable? I thought it was the ole - if we advertise and sales go up, then that is a good channel of marketing. |

Your cable box is a computer on a network (has a MAC ID, IP address, and everything). Cable companies provide marketing agencies with viewership data in near realtime. Nielsen has been defunct for 10+ years. Welcome to the 21st Century. But, that's not my point. I was just sharing info about the programming. I was completely unaware of it and only discovered by happenstance. <Lock & Load Monday Program Schedule> |
