I know this has been addressed i the general forum BUT dont think it was addressed to jersey specific laws.
To attach a muzzle brake in NJ Is 1100 Degree Solder acceptable or must it be pinned? Im not looking for "It should be" i would like fact not opinion. second question... A muzzle brake that has threads on the outside that allows mounting of a suppressor, is that legal?. I know the suppressor is not legal but how about the ability to attach.. Does the law make any difference's? |

I know the suppressor is not legal but how about the ability to attach.. Does the law make any difference's? I believe permanently attaching a brake makes the brake part of the barrel. I believe if you then thread the brake to accept a suppressor it would be construed as threading the barrel. "A flash suppressor or threaded barrel designed to accommodate a flash suppressor;" |

Just the pinning- Solder gets the device and muzzle really hot and can discolor both. Besides, when end of days comes, it is easier to remove the pin and t.c.o.b. than it is to unmake a silver solder joint Cool.. Got my acr last night just waiting on the muzzle device.. ill be shipping to you on Wednesday. |
