Must be illegal in NJ....those look like fun I agree. Those look like way too much fun for NJ.
I am pretty sure they would probably get a loud "NO!" from the range officers where I shoot (Range 14 and Delran). Range 14 gave me a hassle over shooting Diet Coke cans (nice explosion); told me that the only fill permitted is plain water. And from what I hear, Range 14 is supposedly quite tolerant when compared to other NJ ranges. Delran, its a given: NO! If it ain't paper, you ain't shooting it. So we can buy them, own them, transport them in our cars... just can't shoot them. |

So we can buy them, own them, transport them in our cars... just can't shoot them. You need to come down to SJSC in Winslow, where we will most likely let you shoot these. You can certainly shoot other things provide you clean up the mess, and place everything within 3 feet of the traps. Hell, we shoot at mannequins during some of our events. As for transporting in your car, why not screw with them and place it in the front passenger seat, preferably with the top down if you have a convertible... |
| No, your not the only one, but sometimes people that like to have something cool to shoot at other than paper. I agree that for me, it would be a waste, but It's a novel idea and in places where anything goes (like the back yard of people the live in open areas and free states), its probably a cool way to break up the boredom of shooting paper. |
