WCS Action Steel (Knockdown) Match

On the 2nd Saturday of the month we will be shooting an Action Steel Match.
Our Action Steel match is similar to a Pro Am match; however, based upon the input from shooters of our 2009 Pro Am, we will not be using a “Par time” for any stage in our monthly Action Steel match.
Action Steel consists of four stages each month with between 40 and 50 knockdown steel targets per stage arranged with props as in USPSA style matches.
The shooter will start from a designated start position with the firearm loaded, safety on and, on signal, engage all steel from each shooting position per the course description.
Holsters are strongly recommended, however we will allow competitors to start from the low ready position but with a penalty being assessed.
These stages may be shot with handgun, pistol caliber carbine, 22 rimfire rifles, and shotgun. Shotguns are required to use low brass with 7 ½ or smaller shot.
No magnum centerfire or rimfire rounds will be allowed.
Because there will be a cash payout based on the World Class Steel “Lewis System,” per gun Action Match fees will be $10.00 for members and $20.00 for non-members.
