I drink all kinds of beer but if you're going to drink a local beer, why not have one from the olderst Micro Brewery in NJ?
http://www.climaxbrewing.com/ Their beer is excellent, very clean, classic beers. Though thou have been having trouble keeping up with demand lately. |

WHERE oh WHERE can i buy that Where are you located generally? A shop near me in Mercer Cty has it from time to time. |
Just about all Sam Adams,Yuengling and Corona in the summer.Corona's an import![]() Spent a few years in Germany drinking Pilsners and Heavy Weisens.Pretty much beer heaven. I still remember the guys that used to buy a case of Bud from the PX and sit in the barracks on a Saturday night ![]() Found a Danish beer over there called Carlsburg Gold, not even sure if they still make it. Best beer I ever had until I tried it in the states. |

growing up in schuylkill county, PA and working in pottsville i had an aversion to Yuengling BUT as i aged and later found their 'black and tan' on tap right down the street from my current residence, i now enjoy it immensely.
EDIT: i also love their chesterfield ale and porter as well... a bit more difficult to find on this side of the delaware. it's sort of amazing how a lot of NY bars will price their lager like an import. i do enjoy a good beer and am always looking for something 'new'... a little russian lady i work with recently found me some bottles of a very nice lithuanian lager that's quite refreshing albeit a bit too bubbly. |
| Big fan of IPA's, bitters, Belgian & British ales, basically strong and complex brews. When out socializing I usually have Guinness (tap), because of it's low alcohol content I can pound them all night without turning into a retard. Thanks to a secured connection I've been on a Stone IPA kick at home. |
| speaking of beers (in northern NJ), i've been meaning to make it to this place for a while now... pretty impressive list of offerings. |
| on a recent trip to NH, i found this gem on tap. very very nice. |

Good call. Whenever traveling I always look for the local flavors. On my last trip to Maine I found the Gritty's brew pub and fell in love with their Best Bitters. While in Seattle I was in heaven thank to the abundance of hometown brews, Pike pale ale sticks out in memory. http://www.grittys.com/index.php http://www.pikebrewing.com/ |

My top 3: cold, cold, and cold. Almost right.......Cold, colder, coldest and anything not Coors Light. ETA: Finishing off the first 22oz of Long Trial "Brewmaster Series-ohhh" Imperial Porter. Wish the weather was better cause the second bottle could go nicely with a well chosen cigar. |
