Moderators are not voted in, but are approached by Site Staff. It is an honor, ask me how I know. I won't tell you but you can ask. 
That said If PK 90 is up for it, and I could vote him in with a vote, I would. There are others here who can do the job, but PK90 would be my first choice. FMjunkie is moderator emeritus.
