I have been asked by a friend in the US if it is possible for me to buy these vouchers, on his behalf, as he cannot buy them in the US.

He needs to make some purchases (firearms related

) and needs to use Ukash vouchers to do so. I had never heard of the company until he asked me about them.

Has anyone ever used them, or can offer any advice how I can help my friend to get the vouchers he needs.

i'm guessing that when you say 'friend' you mean someone who you know rather than some scam merchant who has asked you to buy these for them?

And i'm just left wondering what on earth a US citizen would want to buy from the UK that they couldnt get cheaper in the US or any another country (eg Europe if its a European product) first........

Yes, it is a known friend, and he wants to buy from Asia, not the US.

Oh, i interpreted 'UKash' as being some kind of UK version of paypal to use in a UK transaction
