Doesn't matter how much you paint it up, Tyga advertised with your consent, breaking AR15.com's Code of Conduct. You should know better being the UKHTF Moderator that this isn't right, and indeed created a mini shitstorm. As you pointed out if I want to advertise I should pay the $500 and become trade partner or whatever it is. I have no quarms with that PROVIDING that others who want to advertise follow suit and do the same thing. SO That in itself isn't fair and in keeping with the direction that this forum normally goes. I also declined your offer of advertising on that basis that I can hardly raise a point then do the self same thing now can I?? It isn't shit stirring as you so colloquially put it, just asking why its ok for one but not another. Now if you feel the need to ban me for the above posts, crack on |

It's not a CoC issue, it's a HTF advertising issue. These have never been fully resolved and there is for the most part, guidance.
A decision was taken some time ago to prohibit advertising in the UKHTF. As we are outside the general loop of Arfcom, and if advertising was permitted, it would lead to a free for all. I still believe this. The only ones that have raised an objection were Subby, but he retracted it, and yourself. I'm not sure you feel aggrieved or are merely trolling. Probably the latter. I can't criticize too much asbwe all domit here 
However, Tyga personally asked me last night and I said that even though it's not normally allowed and had some reservations and a shitstorm was headed this way, it would be ok this once as it is a one-off and temporary venture. There is nothing more to it than that and that's the end of it as far as I'm concerned. I've learned one thing though, I'm not in any hurry to allow it again I hear the other thread was locked on the BBS, and sadly to save any further grief, is probably the best thing to do here |
