Thanks to everyone involved in running another good day down on Century...
Apart from not knowing my left and right windage at the start of the day, and another target mechanism falling apart on us a bloody good day.. ETA - When I confused left and right I suppose I should have done what Nick did and just shot down the middle... |

Yes a cracking day today with blue skies and sunshine :-)
A good turnout with some new faces and even a couple of Soviet rifles :-o which Made a nice change. A mediocre morning session for me was trumped by a self inflicted double feed on the rundown. Thanks to Mark and everyone else for another great day on century. Time for a beer

My first CSR outing, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thanks to Icarus for his guidance to a confused newbie. Definitely need to polish up my standing skills - kept hanging on too long to make the first shot good, then running out of time for the second. I shall surely be back! |

Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile Welcome, although there are others that help out too, Nick, Beardie and Brian. Good to see new faces too Shot averagely good but not too bothered. I was talking to Mr Cottrell and asked what he was doing for the Imperial and he said he may very well shoot the civvy matches as they are more enjoyable than the Army ones Now just quaffing a London Pride and then some prawns and rice in a Thai green curry sauce |

And deserved. Every CSR match I have shot has been great fun. The Imperial was outstanding. It's a bloody good crowd, entertaining evenings and great shooting. What more do you want from a lads (and lasses) weekend away? |

I thought you did pretty good... ..unlike me who spent most of the day wrestling with my Remmy, and consistently losing. Ok when I could get them off, but feed jam city was where I was............... |

There are better rifles out there, not as long and unwieldy, better triggers and better accuracy etc but I have always liked them and would have one if they were a little more reasonable. Of course you do. |

Attendances are considerably up on last year, so we must be doing something right. Aside from that, I was surprised and somewhat pleased to win in the afternoon. Just shows I've still got it
And all with 55gn ammo too |
