Took spare g/f to see 127 Hours last night, learnt the following valuable life lessons;

1) When your Mum leaves a message on your answer machine - be a good boy and call her back.

2) If you are going off alone into the wild, let people know where you are going and how long you will be gone.

3) Carry a good quality knife with a really sharp blade not a crap chinese multi-tool, - 'cos it makes it easier to cut your arm off at the elbow.

Good film even though you knew there wasn't going to be a last minute "Hollywood" rescue at the end

Oh, and while I'm waffling. I wouldn't have had to worry about cheapo chinky tools to cut my arm off, as I would have broke my neck on that fall .

Did I read that right Spare G/F Don't know how you manage that, one wife is more than enough for me .

Film

About a bloke who goes for a walk in the desert, doesn't tell anyone, falls on a ravine and gets his arm stuck...... then cuts of his arm with a knife.

Based on a true story.

ETA - that was easy - Mark Kermode is full of shit....... gets paid as lot for watching telly all day and eating canapes with luvvies.

Correct, one main g/f plus one ex g/f ie the "spare" The spare pays for herself, cheap date, but no benefits on the side so to speak  And there's another ex g/f and an ex wife in the background.
