Apache by Ed Macy, which is a true account of his final tour in Afghanistan as pilot and occasional gunner of Ugly Five One. He also gives a very harrowing account of the battle of Jugroom Fort, and the brave rescue/recovery of Lance Corporal Mathew Ford. It's an excellent read and highly recommended. |
