That reminds me of the cheek of the bloody pikey,s.
Near me, just off junction 35A on the M1, is an industrial estate. During the war, churchill tanks were made there. For many years, there was a restored one, sat on a concrete plinth there. A couple of years ago, the pikey,s just rolled up with a low loader, and buggered off with it.....in broad daylight. Someone did ask them what they were doing, and they said they were taking it away for more restoration...... 17000 tonnes of scrap eh ? |
