First noticed it on Honda Super Blackbird motorcycle and loved it.
Now seeing it a bit more on cars. Its that very matte black paintwork. Almost like blackboard paint !! Cool or uncool ?? |

It's sooo yesterday.... And it's not paint it's matt vinyl wrap....
Uncool cars ....but I'm sure some 400grit wet'n'dry would do the job on your jeep...

Track focused cars like BMW CSL were being wrapped in matt black & similar in 2006 where lots where being used
as Ring hacks before they realised how valuble a modern E46 CSL was going to become. 
Makes more sense to wrap a car in a fad colour or finish to me. Buy a car in a saleable colour like silver or dark metallics, then wrap in a trend colour like white was last year. Btw, alll those white cars will be worth less than an equivalent dark mets & silvers in a few yrs time I reckon.
