Anyone know anything about these guys?
Just seem to have sprung up but seem to have all the right clobber.
Do they stock or dropship?
They are LaRue's Official Importer I see but LaRue don't know anything about them?
WTF is going on with their prices though, they seem to have been made by a random (high) number generator!

There is no official importer for Larue anywhere in the world, I've asked him many times about export and his answer has always been

We only supply the American markets and American troops,

He has no interest in anything outside of the good ol' USA which is his prerogative...

so Official importer he is not...

an importer he is.....

Also If he is "drop shipping from Europe" he is serious trouble with ITAR...

Try doing a search of the STD code for the listed phone number, its a call forwarding service, very suspicious.

It says RFD 208 NY. I cant seem to find anything listed about this RFD though anywere. Mabe they are new? as for the LaRue when I asked them about buying some handguards ages ago they said they were not intrested in ever doing international sales??

Paul Oglesby is his name, had an e-chat and he seems a sensible and straight guy. Knows his prices are high but no way around it by all accounts. He does not buy direct as they will not sell outside. So whatever way he's doing it he's getting it done but charging accordingly.

Is that Gavin?

I just had confirmation that we will be getting better discount, Ill be passing that straight on.
Everything we are doing is above board and completely legal, I can't say anymore than that. LanTac has an exclusive UK deal with the supplier we use and they are official.
I have had a long chat with Mark B today and he knows what we are about, hopefully we can help each other out, we are working hard to get our prices down for UK customers.

Eh? We all talk about acquiring stuff on the internet all the time! Anyone who has something to offer this little community should be encouraged if it's stuff we all want?!

That's not what I'm talking about and you know it
You know damn well I mean questioning the "legality" etc and various means of acquisition etc

Remember, it doesn't matter how we get it, just that we get it in the first place is important.

Remember the Loose Lips motto?

I saw the website a little while ago.

Great looking site and some nice kit on there but the prices were a huge turnoff.  I simply can't justify paying those that kind of money.

It's always good to see new shooting suppliers as in theory it helps the industry to become more competitive and helps the shooter with more competitively priced goods.  However to come into the market offering "nice to have" kit at prices way above those available in other countries leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and causes me as a potential customer to just walk away.

It would be good to see if the pricing can be sorted out.  Good luck to them (and KingConan, I hope they can get the prices down.  I'm all for supporting competitive industry with good customer service.

I agree, ordered a new stock in commercial flavour & when they couldn't get it offered me the mil spec version with a free buffer tube thrown in.

I've just ordered the BHOA  from them as well.

Andy.

Ps my AR is now officially 'monkey metal' free after I've finally got a proper front rail sling mount.

My BHOA, follower and spring cost me £19.92 not £35.00+.

Oh, forgot to add that I also get a Military discount from CMMG too.

You could just edit his post for him to make it say what you want.

Apparently thats possible. And has been done. With hillarious effect.
