I'm off over to Vegas next month and I'm going to book some range time. I've checked the Nevada hometown and found some good info. Any of you guys been out there and can recommend a good place to rent and shoot.

Try American Shooters at 3440 Arville Street, Las Vegas, NV 89102-8167, United States
(702) 362-1223 Nice indoor range complex and not too expensive. Stay away from the Gun Store on tropicana as they will rip you off Check out the Citadel gun and Safe (gunstore only) they have some real nice items there. |

I was out there in 2008. I didn't get the chance to go shooting, but I did cross over into Arizona to see the Grand Canyon, on top of the Nevada stuff (went to see a UFC event, and mooch around a bit). Go forth and have Chili-Cheese Fries for breakfast like I did. |

Been there 5 times. Best place ever !!
The Gun Store on E-Tropicana is good (the gun store) also Las Vegas sun range (las vegas gun range) center mass (center mass ). If you like paint ball (bone head paintball) is cool. Then for buying bits and bobs there is a massive bass shop pro on the highway towards the airport (8200 South Dean Martin Drive Las Vegas, NV 89139. There is also Citadel guns on Dean Martin Drive citadel. Unfortunately I think the desert gun club is now closed. They were trying to renegotiate the lease last time I was out (October last year).... The Pinball museum is good and the half price show ticket booth half way down the strip. As for good free stuff. The Fremont street experience in downtown is fantastic and the Deuce Deuce bus is the cheapest and best way to travel up and down the strip with a 24 hour ticket. If your there for a while the trip to the Hoover dam and the cruise round the lake is a good day out. Don't miss the fountain at the bellagio or the glass ceiling indoors, The Mirage Volcano, Pirates at Treasure Island and the Lions in the MGM Looks like you convinced me to book a holiday... Back to Vegas it is then :) Just remember "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas and if you see anyone you know just walk on by" All the best Chris |

I rang American Shooters last night on Mousegunners advice. The guy there was really helpful and I'll be dropping by one evening. The last Thursday of the month they have run and gun rifle matches with AR15's available to rent. I'm tempted to have a go at that.
