Quite a few on Guntrader for £850 or so, which seems good value, what am I missing? Comments I read say the trigger is terrible @ 10-12LBS.. could only find one after market part though (Triggertamer) which claims 6lbs. I know the major parts are nylon/ other plastic which limits what can be done... kinda surprised that there is no drop-in unit that I could find. Anyone got or had one?

From what I gather they have reworked the trigger, so newer models will come with 6lbs standard. Mine did anyway

Not part of the worshipful cult of Bazopoly unfortunately.. Maybe I'll have to get an account organised

If you get one I'd definately get the large bolt handle modification, it's pretty much a must with them. If you need a trigger tamer I have a few BNIW.

I've heard over the weekend that the thread is there for a reason.... Baz is apparently trying to sell an AUG.

thanks, if I do, I'll give you a shout... To be frank I'm just looking at the options as I've got a conflict between what I want (a BAR15 for the range which I still just haven't got enough £ to do properly), with what I actually need at the moment which is something for foxes/ pest generally (which is what I mostly do).... I know that the Aug still isn't super public friendly.. but it is still less potentially confrontational (in a quick survey most people thought it just looked weird, whereas everyone recognised the AR for what it was)... We don't even run into the public very much, but I'd rather avoid if I can.. I was thinking that maybe an Aug would at least do both things.

The AUG would be a good fox rifle. the Triggertamer works well, and the pull is ok with it. It will always be runner-up to an AR for CSR though. Quite a few of us on here had (or still have) them...

There WAS one at our RFD, dunno if he still has it but if I remember correctly I thought it was a tad expensive at the time... He took it as a trade in but other than having a hold I personally I don't know anything about them. That had a few bits and bobs with it I think, nice take down case etc and mags....
